BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Ramzi Taha completed his doctoral degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University in 1989.  He worked for 29 years in various academic positions in the USA, Oman, Qatar and Lebanon.  His teaching and research experiences are in geotechnical engineering, materials, pavements, sustainable construction, and infrastructure assessment, maintenance and rehabilitation.  He and his colleagues generated research funding in excess of 2 million dollars.  Dr. Ramzi authored/co-authored over 120 journal and conference papers.  He also presented his research findings at major conferences in the USA and overseas.  Dr. Ramzi led the accreditation and re-accreditation of the Civil and Architectural Engineering Programs in Oman and Qatar. He is also an ABET Program Evaluator.
