BIOGRAPHY

Professor Yu-Hang Wang is the Director of the Institute of Structural Engineering of Chongqing University, the Secretary-General of the Wind Power Structure Branch and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Steel-concrete Composite Structure Branch of China Steel Structure Association.

He has won the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars. He received his bachelor's degree in 2008 and Ph.D. in 2013 from Tsinghua University supervised by Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Jian-Guo Nie and then finished the postdoctoral research at Chongqing University supervised by Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Xu-Hong Zhou.

 

He is the principal investigator of over 20 scientific research projects (totally about $ 2 million), and has published over 80 academic papers (including more than 30 SCI Journal papers) and were cited more than 800 times, in which the highest papers cited up to 400 times.
 

He has been authorized 7 Chinese national invention patents, 7 utility model patents and 1 national software copyright and participated in compiling one national code, one industry code, and one local code

Professor Yu-Hang Wang is interesting in the research field of the wind power structure, building structures, steel structure, and steel-concrete composite structure.

 

 

HONORS AND AWARDS

His research results were awarded the first-class prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first-class prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China Highway Institute, the first-class prize of the Dayu Water Resources Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Ministry of Water Resources.
